New kitchen cabinets may account for about 30% of your total renovation expense. Put a great deal of thought into the amount of storage space you need: What kitchen items do you use frequently versus only seasonally?
Do you want an open concept or dual design? There are so many choices, and all of them are good!
Thanks to technology, countertop materials are more durable, attractive, and affordable than ever. Choose from quartz, granite, butcherblock, laminates, and even concrete.
Make your decision after considering how you want your countertop surface to feel (cool or warm to the touch?) and if you want unity or contrast with cabinets, appliances, etc.
You can choose to enlarge your kitchen storage space or repurpose what you have with a creative redesign. We can work with what you have, and we have ideas for what you could have.
Between your vision and our concepts, we can partner for a successful kitchen remodeling project this year.
Appliances include the fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove, and oven. They can be rearranged or replaced. Use the 50/50 rule: If your appliances are more than halfway through their life spans, replace them.
And again, the “you rule” also applies. If you want to upgrade kitchen appliance functions, designs, and general appearance, replace them. It’s your kitchen!
Anything attached is a fixture. Kitchen fixtures include your sink, faucets, handles, and lighting. These are perhaps the best places to begin your kitchen design because the sink affects the countertops, cabinetry, etc.
Pendants or chandeliers don't need to be chosen yet, but your preference must be identified.
Kitchen flooring must be extremely utilitarian yet also attractive. Consider these factors as you select kitchen floor materials:

Scott and Sam along with their crews did amazing work in our 40 year old townhome. They removed walls, completely remodeled two bathrooms, a master closet and completed an amazing kitchen remodel. They handled everything from demo, flooring replacement, paint, electrical updates, fixture and appliance replacements, interior and exterior door replacements and truly made our Olde Georgetown home Brand New! It was a 3 month project and we couldn't have been happier with process or result. They were amazing to work with and I highly recommend them for any project, big or small!
I received quotes from a few contractors for a kitchen remodel. Scott was the first to actually talk through what he was thinking and try to understand what ideas I had. In the end, the kitchen was better than I had envisioned. The overall costs were reasonable, especially considering this is an older home, and the job was done right...rather than quick. We weathered the holidays, a Meck county shutdown, surprise wiring and structure problems--and still everything was done within a reasonable time.
Our kitchen turned out beautifully. Scott was great to work with, and provided helpful insight throughout the process. He could easily identify what I was imagining, and make it a reality. Though they had to put up with my obnoxious dogs while working, the team did a wonderful job.
I love my new counter tops. Cheryl Mongeon was so helpful from start to finish. Great attention to detail and an absolute pleasure to work with. Installer’s were very professional, neat and courteous. I will certainly pass the word on that “Pro-Tops” is the way to go for granite. Cannot thank you enough for all the wonderful help!!!! Deborah

Signature Home completed a major renovation of my master bath. I selected them because of their high online reviews and honest pricing and they did not disappoint! Scott and his team checked all the important boxes for me...professional, honest, customer-centric and, of course, a high quality finished product. I really enjoyed working with them and would recommend this company for any kitchen or bath remodel.
I should've written this review months ago but wanted to share the great experience I had with Scott, Sam and the rest of the team on my kitchen and bath remodels. As with any 1950s house, there were the usual issues that came up (not to mention crooked walls & floors everywhere!) but Scott always kept me updated throughout the process and was great to work with. I love my new rooms and would use Signature again in the future as well as highly recommend.
