During your remodeling project you will not be without power or water. If we are doing a kitchen remodel the gas for your stove will be turned off. We are able to do a temporary hookup for your microwave and refrigerator during the remodeling project.
Yes, until something is ordered and paid for you can make changes. Keep in mind this will affect the schedule of the project.
Getting a permit will depend on the scope of the work. If we are removing walls or moving electric we will need a building permit for the remodeling project. We will take care of getting the permits.
Typically, a complete remodel (ripping everything out and starting from scratch) takes 6-8 weeks. This is provided that you make your material choices in a timely fashion. We will help you make your material choices including flooring, countertops, hardware, etc.
Typically, it is less busy in January, February, August and December. If you are hoping to book quickly that may be the best time.
Yes, we can help you establish a plan. We will provide you with drawings to give you an idea of what the project will look like. We encourage you to do independent research but we will help you select materials.
The materials you choose will affect the price of the project. Also, if you choose custom cabinets vs. pre-fabricated cabinets the price will be higher. If we run into problems during the remodel it can affect the price. We will do an inspection of the property before we start the remodel so if there are major structural problems, we will probably know about it before we start the project.
